Heat of mixing - kongounetsu
The amount of heat generated or absorbed when two or more substances are mixed at a constant temperature. A type of reaction heat. When a solid or gas is dissolved in a liquid, it is called heat of solution. When a gas is dissolved in a liquid, it is called heat of absorption. When a solution of a certain concentration is diluted by adding a solvent, it is called heat of dilution.

2種以上の物質が一定温度の下で混合する際に発生する、または吸収される熱量。反応熱の一種。固体や気体を液体に溶かす場合は溶解熱、気体を液体に溶かす場合は吸収熱、ある濃度の溶液に溶媒を加えて薄める場合は希釈熱と呼ばれる。
