A wrathful Vajra boy who visualizes the hidden power of the Vajra vajra. In Sanskrit, it is called Vajra-kumāra or Kai-krodha. It is said to be an incarnation of Amida Buddha, and its form resembles Zao Gongen. It is a two-armed or six-armed statue. The two-armed statue is said to be from the Tendai sect's Onjo-ji Temple (Miidera, Otsu City), and is a yellow boy who raises his left foot high, steps in the air (T-shaped stance), and spreads his arms wide. In particular, he holds a vajra in his left hand and steps on a blue lotus seat with his right foot. The six-armed statue is called a blue boy in the To-Mitsu school. An example of a two-armed statue exists at Onjo-ji Temple, and a white sketch of a six-armed statue by Shinkai is preserved at Daigo-ji Temple (Kyoto City).
