Japanese: 御料人 - ごりょうにん

It is also called Goryo, Goryo, or Goryonin. It is a respectful term for other people. It is also a respectful term for the son or daughter of a noble. In the early modern period, it was used as a respectful term for the daughter of a middle-class person or a young wife. In the Genpei Seisuiki, Kiso Yoshinaka is called this, and in the Soga Monogatari, Minamoto no Yoritomo is called this. In the Teijo Zakki, it says, "Someone's wife is called Goryonin," and "Some people nowadays refer to someone's daughter as either Goryo or Goryonin, but this is a mistake."

御領，御寮，御寮人ともいう。他人の尊敬語。また，貴人の息子・息女の尊敬語。近世では，中流の人の娘，または年若い妻の尊敬語として使われた。『源平盛衰記』では木曾義仲を，『曾我物語』では源頼朝をこう呼んでおり，『貞丈雑記』には「人の妻を御料人と云ふ」「今時人の娘の事を，御料とも御料人とも云ふ人有り，誤まり也」とある。
