Japanese: 骨髄像 - こつずいぞう（英語表記）myelogram

The bone marrow blood and tissue aspirated by bone marrow aspiration are prepared into smears and sections, and morphological examination is performed under a microscope. The resulting data, which shows the cellular components and properties that make up the bone marrow, is called a bone marrow profile. In a narrow sense, it refers to a table of percentages of cells of other systems per 100 white blood cells.

骨髄穿刺により吸引した骨髄血や組織は塗抹標本および切片標本をつくり，顕微鏡で形態学的検査を行うが，その結果，骨髄を構成している細胞成分や性状を観察した資料を骨髄像という。狭義には白血球系 100に対して他の系の細胞を数えて百分率表にしたものをいう。
