An official from the first half of the 8th century. Also written as Sukunamaro. In 728, he was promoted from Junior Sixth Rank to Junior Fifth Rank. He was later appointed as a Shonoagon, and in February 729, during the Nagaya no O Incident, he was dispatched to the king's residence along with Prince Toneri and others to question him. He was promoted several times thereafter, and in 729, he was promoted to Junior Fifth Rank. According to the Manyoshu (volume 6), around February 730, he was a Left Shoben, and it is known that various officials held a banquet at Sukunamaro's residence.

8世紀前半の官人。少麻呂とも書く。神亀5(728)年,正六位下から外従五位下に昇進。のち少納言に任じられ,天平1(729)年2月,長屋王の変に当たり舎人親王らと共に王の宅に糾問のために派遣された。その後昇進を重ね天平5年には従五位上。『万葉集』(巻6)によれば,天平9年2月ごろには左少弁であり,諸大夫らが宿奈麻呂宅で宴会したことが知られる。
