Chromium steel has 0.1-0.5% carbon and small amounts of chromium (0.9-1.2%) added, nickel-chromium steel has chromium (0.5-1.0%) and nickel (1.0-3.5%) added, chromium-molybdenum steel contains chromium (0.9-1.2%) and molybdenum (0.15-0.45%), and nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel contains nickel (0.4-4.5%), chromium (0.4-1.8%) and molybdenum (0.15-0.7%).
