Commentary on the Sutra of the Emperor
A collection of classics from the Qing Dynasty in China. It is called the Xuehaitang Jingjie. Ruan Yuan, Governor-General of Guangzhou and Guangdong, ordered Yan Jie to compile it, and it was completed and published in 1829 (the 9th year of the Daoguang era). It consists of 188 varieties and 1,400 volumes. Later, in 1862 (the 1st year of the Tongzhi era), Lao Chongguang (1802-67), Governor-General of Guangzhou and Guangdong, reprinted it with eight more varieties and eight volumes. Most of the books in circulation today are these reprints. Furthermore, in 1888 (the 14th year of the Guangxu era), Wang Xianqian, the educational governor of Jiangsu, published the Huangqing Jingjie Zhongxin (A sequel to the Huangqing Jingjie), consisting of 209 varieties and 1,430 volumes.

中国,清代の経学研究書を収めた叢書。《学海堂経解》とよばれる。両広総督の阮元が厳杰(げんけつ)に命じて編集させ,1829年(道光9)に完成し出版された。188種,1400巻。その後1862年(同治1),両広総督の労崇光(1802‐67)が続刻8種,8巻を併せて補刻再版した。現在流布しているのは,たいていこの補刻本である。さらに1888年(光緒14),江蘇学政であった王先謙が《皇清経解続編》209種,1430巻を刊刻。
