Factory mortgage - Kojo Tei To
A special mortgage on the property belonging to a factory. It is established by the Factory Mortgages Act (1905). When a foundation is formed around a factory and related facilities, it becomes a factory foundation mortgage, but a separate system is also recognized in which machinery, tools, etc. can be mortgaged together with the real estate belonging to the factory without forming a foundation. → Foundation mortgage
