...The Liṅgarāja Temple, built around 1000, is said to be the quintessence of Orissa architecture, with its magnificent main hall standing 45m high, and the sculptures decorating the exterior walls having natural, soft features. The Rājarāni Temple, built in the later period (1100-1250), is close to that of Khajurāho in both its architectural form and sculptural style.
