In Germanic law, a certain external relationship between a person and an object is recognized as the right to control the object (real rights). In the case of movable property, it is possession, and in the case of immovable property, it is usufruct. It is called possession, but it is different from the possession in Roman law, which is independent of and opposed to real rights (real rights). The presumption of possession and immediate acquisition in Japanese civil code are said to be descended from Gewehr. → Related Article Germanic Law Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
