A British island group located in the western West Indies, south of Cuba. Also known as the Cayman Islands. It consists of three islands: Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac. Columbus arrived there in 1503, and it became a British territory in 1670. The main industry is tourism, but there are also many foreign corporations registered there, and it has attracted attention as an international financial trading center.
