Cruiser

Japanese: クルーザー
Cruiser
A general term for cruising yachts, including cruising yachts that are primarily sailed, and motor cruisers that are primarily propelled by a motor. Their designs place emphasis on seaworthiness, maneuverability, and habitability rather than speed, and their rigging styles include cutters, yawls, ketches, and schooners. Schooners in particular are ideal for ocean cruising. The hulls are generally deep and large. They range from small half-deck boats to those of several hundred tons equipped with cabins and other long-term living facilities. The term also refers to cruisers and cruising motorboats.
