Baize
French religious reformer and humanist. Latin name Theodorus Beza. Influenced by Calvin, he became rector of the College of Theology in Geneva in 1559, and played an active role as Calvin's most faithful successor and leader of the Reformed Church. He is also known for his verse translation of the Psalms and his research on Bible manuscripts (the discovery of the Codex Beza).
