Glyptal resin - Glyptal resin
|
An alkyd resin made primarily from glycerin and phthalic acid, named after the "gly" (from glycerine) and "phthalic" (from phthalic acid) (GE's product name). Glyptal resin has no uses on its own, and is modified by adding drying oil or unsaturated fatty acid to the system and used as a room temperature curing paint resin or baking paint resin. グリセリンとフタル酸を主原料とするアルキド樹脂で，グリセリンglycerineのグリgly，フタル酸phthalic acidのフタルphthalから名づけられた(GE社の商品名)。グリプタル樹脂のみでの用途はなく，この系に乾性油あるいは不飽和脂肪酸などを加えて変性し，常温硬化性の塗料用樹脂または焼付塗料用樹脂として用いられる。アルキド樹脂【森川 正信】
