Son of Hino Suketomo. His name was Kunimitsu. At the age of 13, he went to Sado and tried to kill his father's enemy, Sado Shugo Honma Yamashiro Nyudo Yasunori, but failed and stabbed his son Honma Saburo to death. He later served the Southern Court and became a Chunagon (middle counsellor). He died in 1363 ( Shohei 18 ). 日野資朝の子。名は邦光。一三歳のとき佐渡に渡って、父の仇佐渡守護本間山城入道泰宣を討とうとしたが果たさず、子の本間三郎を刺殺。のち南朝に仕え、中納言となる。正平一八年(一三六三)没。
