A Chinese record from the late Heian period. Also read as "Kugutsunoki." Written by Oe Masafusa. Date of origin unknown. The kakushi, a wandering entertainer who appeared in documents from the mid-Heian period, moved around while living in tents chasing water plants, and the men performed magic tricks and magic tricks while hunting, while the women performed singing and dancing to curry favor. The book lists the names of famous performers from various provinces, and records that their songs ranged from Imayo, Furukawayo, Ashigara, Saibara, Tauta, and Kamiuta, and that their beautiful voices were praised throughout the country. It is not only a valuable document for learning about the customs and entertainment of the time, but also for learning about the origins and lineage of entertainers in Japan.
