A perennial plant of the family Araceae. It is also called Hakusan Ominaeshi. It grows wild on high mountains and rocky areas in mountainous areas. It is about 30 cm tall. In summer, it produces a branched inflorescence at the top of the stem, with many small yellow flowers. After flowering, it produces an elliptical fruit wrapped in wing-like bracts. オミナエシ科の多年草。ハクサンオミナエシともいう。高山や山地の岩場などに自生する。高さ 30cm内外。夏に，茎頂に枝分れした花序を出し，多数の黄色の小花をつける。花後翼状の包葉に包まれた楕円形の果実を生じる。
