A perennial plant of the family Araceae. It is also called Hakusan Ominaeshi. It grows wild on high mountains and rocky areas in mountainous areas. It is about 30 cm tall. In summer, it produces a branched inflorescence at the top of the stem, with many small yellow flowers. After flowering, it produces an elliptical fruit wrapped in wing-like bracts.
