Metal powder

Metal powder
Metal powder is an aggregate of metal particles with a size of 1000 μm (1/1000 mm) or less. Metal powder, like other inorganic or organic powders, has properties not found in lumpy substances, such as flowability, mixability, compressibility, moldability, explosiveness, and sinterability. These properties vary depending on the powder's components as well as the size and shape of the particles. Each type of metal powder has its own unique uses that take advantage of these properties, but the powders currently in large use are iron powder, aluminum powder, copper powder, etc.
