Kinsei Mono no Hon Edo Sakushaburui

Japanese: 近世物之本江戸作者部類 - きんせいもののほんえどさくしゃぶるい

An encyclopedia of Edo literature authors written by Kaiko Sanjin (Kyokutei Bakin). Manuscript completed in 1834 (Tenpo 5). Two manuscript volumes. Starting with Edo gisaku (comic fiction) from the early days, such as the so-called akahon (red books), to the Tenpo era (1830-1844), this encyclopedia compiles the works and biographies (real name, status, birth and death, public opinion) of a total of 148 authors of kusazoshi, sharebon, kakebon, ninjyobon, kibyōshi, gokan, and yomihon (readings) as thoroughly as possible, and classifies them into authors of akahon, sharebon, chuhon, and yomihon.

蟹行散人（かいこうさんじん）(曲亭馬琴)が著した江戸文学の作者事典。1834年(天保5)成稿。写本2冊。いわゆる赤本（あかほん）などの発生期の江戸戯作にはじまり，天保年間(1830‐44)にいたる，草双紙，洒落本，滑稽本，人情本，黄表紙，合巻（ごうかん），読本（よみほん）の作者のべ148名について，いちいち，その著作･伝記(本名，身分，生没，世評)をできるかぎり克明に調べ，赤本，洒落本，中本（ちゆうほん），読本の作者に分類し，集成したもの。
