Far East Nationalities Championships

Japanese: 極東民族大会 - きょくとうみんぞくたいかい

A conference of representatives of democratic organizations in East Asian countries held in Moscow and St. Petersburg in January and February 1922. It is also known as the Congress of the Peoples of the Far East and the Congress of the Workers of the Far East. Plans for holding the conference date back to a resolution of the Comintern Executive Committee in September 1920, but it was not materialized until the summer of 1921. It was originally scheduled to begin in Irkutsk on November 11, 1921, in opposition to the opening of the Washington Conference (Washington System), but due to circumstances on the part of organizers such as Zinoviev, both the location and the date were changed, and in addition to the main conference, a qualifications examination committee and national sectional meetings were held, with youth and women's divisions also held around the same time.

1922年1～2月にモスクワとペテルブルグで開催の東アジア諸国の民主諸団体代表会議。極東人民大会とも訳され，極東勤労者大会の別称でも知られる。開催計画は1920年9月のコミンテルン執行委員会決議にまでさかのぼるが，21年夏以降に具体化した。当初，ワシントン会議(ワシントン体制)開会に対抗して21年11月11日にイルクーツクで始められるはずであったが，主催者側のジノビエフらの事情も絡んで，場所，時期ともに変更され，大会本会議のほか資格審査委員会，各国別分科会が開かれ，青年，婦人両部会も相前後して開催された。
