Kuang-tai-xie-xue (English: The science of evil and wickedness)

Japanese: 狂態邪学 - きょうたいじゃがく（英語表記）Kuang-tai-xie-xue

This is a term used by the Chinese literati critic Gao Lian in the late Ming Dynasty to criticize paintings by Zhejiang school painters. After Dong Qichang, the theory of the two schools of painting, North and South, and the theory of literati painting were established, and the literati's attacks on the Zhejiang school intensified. He named several Zhejiang school painters from the Hongzhi period (1488-1505) onwards, criticized their rough brushwork, and criticized them as "people who exaggerate their crazy behavior" and followers of "evil school" painting. Since then, the names of the painters have differed slightly depending on the critic.

中国，明末の文人批評家高濂 (こうれん) が浙派系画人の絵画を酷評した言葉。董其昌 (とうきしょう) 以後，南北二宗論，文人画論が確立され，文人側の浙派攻撃が激化し，弘治期 (1488～1505) 以降の浙派系画家数名をあげ，その筆墨の粗縦性を非難し，「狂態をたくましくする者」，画学における「邪学」の徒として酷評したことに始る。以後，批評家により画家名には多少の相違がみられる。
