A liberal monthly educational magazine published by Kyoiku no Seikisha from October 1923 to November 1928. Kyoiku no Seikisha was an educational organization formed in early 1923 by four people, Noguchi Entaro, Shimonaka Yasaburo, Tamefuji Goro, and Shigaki Hiroshi, with the aim of "reforming the substance, content, and methods of education." In addition to publishing Kyoiku no Seikisha, the organization aimed to build and operate an ideal school, "Children's Village." Noguchi Entaro, the person in charge, respected the connection with the international new education movement through his correspondence with the British new education leader Beatrise Ensor, so international trends in educational reform were strongly reflected in Kyoiku no Seikisha.
