Aibetsu [town] - Aibetsu
A town in Kamikawa District, central Hokkaido. It is located in the northeastern corner of the Kamikawa Basin, and is served by the Sekihoku Main Line. The Ishikari River and the Aibetsu River run through the center of the town, and the areas along these rivers are agricultural regions, but most of the land is mountainous. In addition to agricultural products, the town also produces forest products such as mushrooms. Area: 250.13 km2 . Population: 3,328 (2010).
