Captain Kidd

Japanese: キャプテン・キッド(英語表記)Captain Kidd
Captain Kidd
1645?-1701
British pirate. His real name was William Kidd. He was born in Scotland. He became a sailor and traveled to the colonies of North America. In 1690, he became a captain and shipowner, based in New York. From 1690 to 1695, he led a privateer ship and participated in the war against France. At the time, the east coast of North America was a hotbed of pirates who traveled as far as Africa and the Indian Ocean. He was hired by the British government, which felt the need to suppress them, and in 1696 he set sail from London at the head of the "Adventure."
