This is the name of the head of the Kineei school of Nagauta shamisen, and has been passed down through four generations to date. The first head was the original name of the 11th head Kineya Rokuzaemon, and the second head was the original name of the 5th head Kineya Kangoro.

(1890-1967) His real name was Oda Eijiro. He was the adopted son of Yoshimura Ijuro VI. He studied under Kangoro V, and after taking the name Eijiro, he took the name of Yoshimura Ijuro III in 1905 (Meiji 38). In 1935 (Showa 10), he took the names of Yoshimura Izaburo IX (the head of the Yoshimura family) and Osatsuma Bundayu. In 1911, he formed the Nagauta Kakumei-kai with his comrades, and served as head of the Japanese music department at the Kabukiza Theater, president of the Nagauta Association, and principal of the Japan Traditional Music School, among other positions, and devoted himself to the development of Nagauta and the training of the next generation. His representative compositions include "Oshichi Kichisa" and "Hagoromo," and his books include "How to Sing Nagauta (Part 1 and Part 2)" and "Nagauta Negishi Collection." He was a member of the Japan Art Academy.

(1917-88) The biological son of the third generation. In 1968 (Showa 43), he succeeded to the name of the fourth generation.

長唄(ながうた)三味線方、杵栄(きねえい)派の家元名で、現在まで4世を数える。初世は11代杵屋六左衛門の初名、2世は5世杵屋勘五郎の初名である。

(1890―1967)本名小田栄次郎。6世芳村(よしむら)伊十郎の養子。5世勘五郎に師事し、栄次郎の名を経て1905年(明治38)3世を襲名。35年(昭和10)9世芳村伊三郎(芳村宗家)と大薩摩文太夫(おおざつまふみたゆう)の名前を兼ねる。1911年同志とともに長唄鶴命(かくめい)会を組織したほか、歌舞伎座(かぶきざ)邦楽部長、長唄協会会長などを歴任、また日本邦楽学校の校長を務めるなど、長唄の発展と後進の指導に力を注いだ。作曲の代表作に『お七吉三(きちさ)』『羽衣(はごろも)』など、著書に『長唄のうたひ方(正・続)』『長唄根岸集』などがある。日本芸術院会員。
