Abeyama, Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture, is a tumulus from the end of the Kofun period. It is located on the southern slope of a ridge extending to the west, and has a typical appearance for tumuli from the end of the Kofun period. It has not been excavated, and its internal structure is unknown, but the mound is a circular tumulus with a diameter of about 11m and a height of about 4m, and is slightly smaller in size than Takamatsuzuka Tomb. However, in 1983, a fiberscope was used to discover that the north wall of the stone coffin contained a painting of a black turtle (genbu) similar to that in the Takamatsuzuka Tomb mural. It is unclear whether there are any images of the other four gods, but it has attracted attention because it is located almost directly south of Takamatsuzuka Tomb, and is also close to the southern extension of the central axis of Fujiwara-kyo.

奈良県明日香村阿部山にある古墳時代終末期の古墳。西にのびる尾根の南斜面にあり，終末期古墳に典型的な景観を示す。未発掘で，内部構造は明らかでないが，墳丘は直径約11m，高さ約4mの円墳をなし，規模は高松塚古墳よりやや小さい。しかし1983年ファイバースコープによって石槨北壁に高松塚古墳壁画によく似た玄武（げんぶ）の描かれていることが知られ，他の四神などの画像の有無は不明であるが，その位置が高松塚古墳のほぼ真南で，やはり藤原京中軸線の南への延長線に近いことから注目を集めている。
