Odd Number - Kisuu

Among natural numbers, odd numbers are numbers that cannot be divisible by 2, such as 1, 3, and 5. In other words, they are numbers that leave a remainder of 1 when divided by 2. Therefore, odd numbers are expressed in the form 2×n-1 (n is a natural number). Natural numbers are either odd or even. The half in the phrase "even" refers to an odd number. The sum of two odd numbers is not odd, but even.

自然数のなかで、1、3、5のように2で割り切れない数をいう。すなわち、2で割って1余る数である。したがって、奇数は、2×n－1（nは自然数）の形に表される。自然数は、奇数か偶数かのどちらかである。丁半というときの半が奇数を意味している。二つの奇数の和は奇数ではなく偶数である。
