Uramatsu family - Uramatsuke
The Hino family of the Northern House of the Fujiwara clan. In the early Muromachi period, the Uramatsu family took the name Uramatsu from Shigemitsu, the son of Hino Sukeyasu. Shigemitsu's daughter Shigeko became the wife of the 6th Shogun, Ashikaga Yoshinori, and gave birth to Yoshikatsu and Yoshimasa. After Yoshinori was killed by the Akamatsu clan in 1441, the Uramatsu family wielded great influence as the mother of the young Shogun.
