Kinrikoban - Kinrikoban

Japanese:
Kinrikoban - Kinrikoban

...According to official orders, government officials of higher ranks, except ministers and ministers of various ministries, were required to be on duty at the honji (night and day shifts), but records from the Heian period show that at the Imperial Palace and the Imperial Palace, nobles and courtiers were on duty, with most of these being on duty every six days or five days in a row. The Imperial Palace Guard, which was established in the Middle Ages and survives into the early modern period, has had 10 guards, but most are 5 or 6. According to the Gokeikyoki, there was a system of 5-guard inner Guards and a system of 6-guards, and as a rule, nobles and courtiers below the rank of Dainagon, except for samurai, military officers, and benkan, including those with no rank, were assigned to one of these guards.
[Samurai Government and Guards]
The Dairi-Oban guard service, which symbolizes the daily national guard duties, is thought to have begun in the Insei period, but the method of guarding the Imperial Palace in its early days has not yet been clarified.
