…In fact, there is no word for the heliocentric theory in European languages (in English, helio-centric model and helio-centric theory are the norm). However, there are other possibilities for the Earth's rotation besides the usual rotation and revolution. For example, there is the heliocentric theory of Kim Seok-mun (1658-1735) of Korea, who considered the Earth's rotation over a very long period of time (Kim Seok-mun is understood to have also accepted what we would call today's rotation).
