Near ultraviolet - Kinshigaisen

Japanese:
Near ultraviolet - Kinshigaisen

Of light (electromagnetic waves with wavelengths of approximately 10 to 105 nm), ultraviolet rays are on the short-wavelength side of the visible light range (about 400 to 800 nm). Of this, the longer wavelength side, with the dividing line at around 190 nm, is called near ultraviolet or the Dorno range, and the shorter wavelength side is called far ultraviolet or the Schumann range (185 nm or less) and the Millikan range (60 nm or less). Near ultraviolet rays have an energy range of 3 to 7 eV, which corresponds to the value between the energy levels of electrons in atoms, molecules, and solids, making them an effective electromagnetic wave for research into photochemistry and optical properties.
