Wakura [Hot Springs] - Wakura

Japanese: 和倉[温泉] - わくら

A hot spring in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Earth chloride-containing saline spring. 95°C. It was discovered in the 9th century, and is said to have been moved into the sea by an earthquake in the 11th century. During the Edo period, people would pay tax and go to bathe in a hand boat, but during the Bunka era, a bridge was built. It is located at the tip of Bentenzaki, which juts out into Nanao Bay, and is a scenic spot with Noto Island floating in front of it, perfect for fishing and swimming. There is a bus that goes there from Wakura Onsen Station on the Nanao Line.

石川県七尾市にある温泉。含塩化土類食塩泉。95℃。９世紀に発見，11世紀の地震で泉源が海中に移ったと伝える。江戸時代には運上銀を納め，はじめ手舟で入浴に向ったが，化政期には橋が架けられたという。七尾湾に突出した弁天崎の先端にあり，前面に能登島が浮かぶ景勝地で，釣，海水浴にも好適。七尾線和倉温泉駅からバスが通じる。
