Kirk's dik-dik

An animal of the order Artiodactyla, family Bovidae. A small antelope with a shoulder height of 35-45cm that lives in the bushlands from Kenya to Angola. The "kirk" is named after John Kirk, the British consul general at the time this species was discovered (around 1880).

哺乳(ほにゅう)綱偶蹄(ぐうてい)目ウシ科の動物。ケニアからアンゴラまでのやぶ地に生息する、肩高35～45センチメートルと小形のアンテロープ（レイヨウ）。「キルク」は、本種が発見された当時（1880ころ）のイギリス総領事John Kirkにちなむ。
