A thinker from the state of Chu during the Warring States period in China. Or his writings. He is said to have been the teacher of the orthodox scholars Su Qin and Zhang Yi, and is also known as Guigu Sensei. Guigu is apparently originally the local name of Yangcheng in Yingchuan. His deeds are unknown, and his name Wang Xu is merely a later fabrication. The book Guiguzi does not appear in the Book of Han (Han Shu) Art and Literature Journal, but was first recorded in the Book of Sui (Suisho) Jingjizhi. It is said to have been written by Su Qin, or to have been excerpted and edited from the posthumous writings of Su Qin and Zhang Yi, but it is probably a forgery from the Wei-Jin period. The current book is made up of 15 chapters: He, Hanhan, Neiqian, Diqi, Feikan, Gogo, Shi, Mo, Quan, Mō, Jie, Fuyan, The Seven Art of Yin-Talisman of the Main Sutra, Zhishu, and Zhongjing, most of which are about the art of persuasion, strategy, and strategy. The Fuyan chapter overlaps with the text of the Nine Guards chapter of the Guanzi.
