Greek Church Fathers

Most of the church fathers of the ancient church used Greek, so they are called "Greek Fathers," while the church fathers of the Western Church, who used Latin, such as Cyprian, Jerome, and Augustine, are called "Latin Fathers." The importance of the church fathers lies in the fact that they were directly involved in the formation of doctrine, thereby laying the foundation for Christianity to become a world religion.
