Medically, it is called anorexia nervosa. It is likely to develop during adolescence and young adulthood, and is particularly prevalent in unmarried women. It can occur when a person cuts down on food or eats less out of fear of becoming obese, but it can also be caused by a refusal to mature or a rejection of sex. Binge eating, on the other hand, is closely related to stress and anxiety, and is a compulsive form of eating that involves eating and eating and not being able to stop. It is also an attempt to fill frustration and a sense of emptiness. Along with psychiatric diagnosis and treatment, physical care is also important.
