Cooperative Farm (Korea)

...In the agricultural sector, there are a few state-run farms, but the majority are cooperatively managed. Agricultural cooperatives, which were consolidated into villages (approximately 300-500 households), were renamed cooperative farms in the fall of 1987, and are unified under the guidance of the County Cooperative Farm Management Committee, a national organ. The status of implementation of long-term economic plans since the founding of the state is as shown in the table below.
