Resonator

Resonator
A device that uses the resonance phenomenon to extract waves or vibrations of a specific frequency. It is generally called a resonator for sound. In electrical circuits, it is made by combining a coil and a capacitor, or a resistor and a capacitor. A resonator used to select specific frequencies from radio waves picked up by an antenna is called a tuning circuit. The higher the Q value, the stronger the ability to separate radio waves. Note that cavity resonators are used for microwaves, and optical resonators using interferometers are used for lasers.
