...Population 11,625 (1995). Surrounded by mountains, the town is located in the Kihoku Basin, which opens up to the north of the Onigajo mountain range. The Hiromi River, which flows into the Shimanto River, flows through the center of the town with its tributaries, and joins with the Mima River to enter Matsuno Town.
