〘名〙 年貢米や商い米を輸送する際に生じる欠損米を補充するための付加米。江戸時代、欠米は一石につき三升と公定された。また、村々で保管中の年貢米の減損分に対する弁償米も欠米といった。〔運歩色葉(1548)〕※玉塵抄(1563)二五「米を久うあづかりなどして筭用の時にことの外干米(カンマイ)を立ることあり」[補注]年貢米などの輸送などによって生じた欠損分をいうとする説がある。
