Andera

…A temple where nuns reside. Originally called a nunnery, it is commonly called an andera. In China, the first nunnery was said to be the Chikurinji Temple, built to the west of Luoyang City in the early 4th century, and there were nunneries in Goguryeo and Baekje in Korea as well.
