A national park in southwestern Utah, USA. It covers an area of ​​593 square kilometers. It was established in 1919. It occupies a corner of an arid plateau where natural wonders are concentrated. Centered around Zion Canyon, which is 24 kilometers long and 800 meters deep, it is home to deep canyons, vast mesas, towering cliffs, and strangely shaped rocks. The rocks are colorful, ranging from white to purple, pink, orange, and yellow, which is why it is also known as the Land of Rainbow Valley. From the beautiful mountain paths in the park, you can see squirrels, foxes, and deer, and there is a wide variety of plants.

アメリカ合衆国、ユタ州南西部の国立公園。面積593平方キロメートル。1919年制定。大自然がつくる奇観が集中する乾燥台地の一角を占める。長さ24キロメートル、深さ800メートルに及ぶザイオン峡谷を中心に、深い峡谷群、広大なメサ、そそり立つ絶崖(ぜつがい)、さまざまな形をした奇岩石などが集まり、さらに岩石は白、紫、ピンク、オレンジ、黄とカラフルで、「虹(にじ)の谷の土地」と別称される。園内の美しい山道からはリスやキツネ、シカの姿を見ることができ、植物もバラエティーに富む。
