〘noun〙 (based on the style of "Boliangtai Poem," which was created when Emperor Wu of Han held a banquet to celebrate the completion of Boliangtai Terrace and ordered his ministers to compose seven-character linked verses, each with a rhyming line.) A type of Chinese poem, an ancient seven-character poem with a rhyming line. Boliang. [Canglang Shihua - Poetry Style] [Additional Notes] This has long been considered the origin of seven-character poems and linked verses, but the Boliangtai Poem that is passed down today is said to be a later forgery.
