Guisui County

…In 1739 (the 4th year of the Qing Dynasty) Suiyuan City was built 4km northeast of Guihua City. This was called the New City and the old Guihua City was called the Old City. The Guihua Suiyuan Office was established by combining the old and new city areas. In 1912 (the 1st year of the Republic of China), the office was changed to a county, and then to Guisui County. From 1929, it was called Suiyuan Province. …
