Jizhou

Japanese: 冀州 - きしゅう
Jizhou
[1] One of the ancient Kyushu regions of China. The area encompassing the present-day Hebei and Shanxi provinces, the west of the Liao River in Liaoning province, and the north of the Yellow River in Henan province. [2] A prefecture in southern Hebei province since the Late Wei period. Its center is the present-day Ji County.
