〘Noun〙 A dance performed by the Abe clan at the Daijo- e ceremony during the Heian period. It is said that an ancestor of the Abe clan performed this dance when Empress Jingu returned in triumph from her expedition to the Three Kingdoms of Korea and held the Daijo-e ceremony, and it has been performed by the Abe clan for generations since then. The dancers wear uchikake with no armpits, armor, and dance with a spear . 〘名〙 平安時代、大嘗会(だいじょうえ)に安倍氏がつかさどって奏した舞。神功皇后が三韓遠征から凱旋して、大嘗会を行なった際に、安倍氏の祖先が奏したとの伝承により、以後代々安倍氏がつかさどることになった。闕腋(けってき)の打掛を着け、甲冑をつけ、鉾(ほこ)をもって舞う。吉師部楽(きしべのがく)。※三代実録‐貞観元年(859)一一月一九日「安倍氏吉志舞」
