Henry
(Henry)[1] (I) Norman king of England (reigned 1100-35 ). He expanded royal power by reforming the judicial administration system, and annexed the Duchy of Normandy. ( 1068-1135 )[2] (II) King of England (reigned 1154-89 ). First king of the Plantagenet dynasty. Grandson of Henry I. Established the height of feudal monarchy in England. ( 1133-89 )[3] (III) King of England of the Plantagenet dynasty (reigned 1216-72 ). Eldest son of King John. He ignored the Great Charter and made many misrule, which led to rebellions by Simon de Montfort and others, and as a result ratified the Provisions of Oxford, which restricted royal power. ( 1207-72 )[4] (IV) King of England (reigned 1399-1413 ). First king of the Lancastrian dynasty. While continuing the Hundred Years' War, he also made an effort to suppress domestic rebellions and heresy. ( 1366-1413 ) [5] (V) King of England (reigned 1413-22 ). Eldest son of Henry IV. As the protector of voyages of exploration, he trained navigators and laid the foundation for Portugal's maritime development in the early modern period. He is known as the Prince Navigator.
