[Born] Tempo 4 (1833) [Died] February 1898. A shamisen player of Tokiwazu-bushi, head of the Kishizawa school. Son of the 5th Kishizawa Shikisa. Formerly named Misakichi. Succeeded in 1857. Reconciled with the Tokiwazu school in 1886. Continues as head of a branch school. Succeeded to the 5th Koshikibu name in 1892. Composed works include "Osome," "Matsushima," and "Momijigari."
