Born: 1859 (6th year of the Ansei period) [Died] 1944 A shamisen player of Tokiwazu-bushi, head of the Kishizawa school. Adopted son of the 6th Kishizawa Shikisa. Formerly named the 2nd Misakichi. In 1892 he inherited the name as the 7th. He gave it up once, then later became the 8th. In 1906 he again split with the Tokiwazu school. In 1921 he inherited the name of the 7th Koshikibu.
