Chrysanthemum stone
A Japanese sake from Aichi. The name of the sake was given to the founder Urano Hanjuro after the natural monument "Kikuishi" on Mt. Sanage, which he received from Sanage Shrine. It is a mellow type of sake brewed by a Tajima brewer. There are daiginjo sake, junmai ginjo sake, junmai sake, and honjozo sake. It won gold medals at the National New Sake Tasting Competition in 2007, 2010, and 2012. The raw rice used is Yamadanishiki, Gohyakumangoku, and other varieties. The brewing water is underground water from the Yahagi River. The brewery, Urano, was founded in 1864. It is located in Shimofuruya, Shigo-cho, Toyota City.

愛知の日本酒。酒名は、創業者・浦野判十郎が猿投(さなげ)山の天然記念物「菊石」の名を猿投神社から拝受し命名。但馬杜氏が仕込む芳醇タイプの酒。大吟醸酒、純米吟醸酒、純米酒、本醸造酒などがある。平成19、22、24年度全国新酒鑑評会で金賞受賞。原料米は山田錦、五百万石など。仕込み水は矢作(やはぎ)川の伏流水。蔵元の「浦野」は元治元年(1864)創業。所在地は豊田市四郷町下古屋。
